Common Questions
Do we need a developer to maintain the app after launch?
No. Power Apps is a low-code platform, which means your team can make simple changes without a developer. We provide full training and documentation. For larger updates, we offer a retainer support package.
What Microsoft licences do our users need?
Most Power Apps are covered by Microsoft 365 Business Basic or higher. If your app uses Dataverse (instead of SharePoint), users need a Power Apps Per User licence (approximately £16/user/month). We'll confirm the exact licencing requirements during your discovery call.
Can the app integrate with our existing systems (SAP, Salesforce, etc.)?
Yes. Power Apps connects to 400+ data sources via Power Automate. We've integrated with Dynamics 365, SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, and custom REST APIs. Some complex integrations may increase the project scope and cost.
How do you handle our data security requirements?
Your data never leaves your Microsoft tenant. We build within your Azure AD security boundary. All data is stored in SharePoint or Dataverse — both within your Microsoft 365 subscription. We can implement row-level security, column-level encryption, and DLP policies.
What if we want changes after launch?
Changes within 30 days of launch are included in your package. After that, we offer a per-hour rate or a monthly retainer for ongoing changes and new features. Many clients expand their apps after seeing the initial results.
Can you build a Power App if we've already started one internally?
Absolutely. We regularly take over or improve in-progress Power Apps. We'll review what you have, identify any structural issues, and either fix and extend the existing app or recommend a rebuild if necessary.
