Common Questions
Do we own the code after the project?
Completely. Every line of code is yours. We transfer all repositories to your GitHub account, remove our access (unless you want us to keep it for maintenance), and provide documentation. We don't lock you into ongoing dependency on us.
How firm is the fixed price?
The fixed price is for the scope we agree in the specification document. If you add features outside that scope, we quote them separately and you decide whether to include them. We don't absorb scope changes and bill you later.
Can you work with our existing codebase?
Yes. We regularly inherit existing codebases and extend them. Our first step is always a code audit — we'll tell you honestly what state it's in and what we can and can't build on top of it.
Do you do ongoing maintenance after launch?
Yes. We offer a monthly maintenance and support retainer that includes dependency updates, bug fixes, performance monitoring, and small feature additions. Many clients start on a fixed project and move to a retainer after launch.
What if we need changes during development?
Minor clarifications and small adjustments are included. Significant changes to spec are quoted separately. We use a formal change request process so nothing is ambiguous. This protects both sides.
